The acquittal of George Zimmerman is a travesty and an outrage. The fact that a man can shoot and kill a teenage boy and walk free and even claim to be the victim speaks so clearly about the depth of racism in US society. People all over the country expressed their outrage Sunday. This acquittal is indefensible but the spirit of organizing and collective struggle is encouraging. Justice for Trayvon and justice for all victims of the racist justice system.
